soy sauce.
Soy Sauce is the key to life.
Without Soy Sauce
- Nothing to go with your plain rice when there is crap food on the table for dinner.
- Then you would not eat the rice at all.
- Then you STARVE.
- Then you DIE. 0_0
MORAL OF THE STORY - HAVE SOY SAUCE.
LEE KUM KEE SOY SAUCE - note, not LEE KUM KEE PREMIUM SOY SAUCE. I like the LKK Soy Sauce, it's my favourite.
It tastes so good, like, better than other soy sauces.
My dad says, all good tasting soy sauces are bad for you. Not that I care. :)
But I look on the side, and there is a whole line of E ingredients. ;P ehhs..
Oh wells, it doesn't stop me from telling mum to buy that type of soy sauce every time.
________________________________________________________________
Mum comes home with shopping one day.
During dinner, I have a look at the soy sauce.
Yep yep its LEE KUM KEE, but it's not SOY SAUCE.
It's..... PREMIUM SOY SAUCE.
... =_="
Ok, you would think that PREMIUM soy sauce would be better than the Soy Sauce right?
Afterall, PREMIUM? Sounds better?
NOT AT ALL. IT TASTED LIKE CRAP. - My opinion only I guess. The rest of the family had no problem with it. I guess I am picky with my food.
PREMIUM Soy Sauce tasted like, I can't explain, I just didn't like it. Despite it being
premium.
tiramisumousey no likey likey :(
Not to mention, mum bought like 5 bottles. ><
OH, HAPPY EASTER. Hope you get lots of chocolate, and go on chocolate overdose. ;)

let's murder some minutes.
This is how sad I am. Not
sad sad, I mean,
how sad. Not
upset sad. I mean sad. Get it? Haha I don't even get it..
Ok, I am not
upset sad, I'm sad... ok, maybe I should stop. I'm confusing myself.
I thought, considering it is Sunday, and weekends are not (in my brain) classified as holidays, so, technically (in my world), holidays start tomorrow. :) And, err, I'd start holiday studying tomorrow, and just relax today..
Since I had nothing to do, and not to mention today is Sunday - there are no good tv shows on, and to prove just how sad ( not upset sad ;) ) I am, I randomly google
"how to kill time". See how sad I am?
After clicking on random results, I decide to compile my own list.

5 - Go on a flat escalator, and run the other way - So it seems like you are running on the spot.
6 - Go to sleep.

7 - During rush hour (peak traffic hour), dress up in a road worker's costume, and hold up a stop/slow sign on a busy road. This helps the people in cars rushing off to work murder time. :) This can also be achieved by stopping your car on the busy road, pretending that it has broken down.
8 - Go into a shoe shop, and try on a million pairs of shoes, then say, "I'll have a think about it." This helps the Shop Assistants murder time.
9 - Go up and down the lift in the shopping centre, and before you leave, press all the buttons, so that other people in the lift can also murder time. ;)
10 - When your teacher explains something that takes long explanation, dutifully raise your hand and tell him/her that you do not understand, and ask to repeat what he/she had just said. This is being a good student, helping your teacher murder time.

teriyaki tofu.
mmmmmmm :P
Visiting the local sushi shop today, I came across a sushi flavour that I have never tried before. ...... teriyaki tofu :)
Man, it was yum as..
dribbleshehe being myself as usual, I decide to
stalk teriyaki tofu by googling it...
All the recipes for teriyaki tofu requires ... teriyaki sauce. Genius?
BUT our kitchen has no teriyaki sauce.. not that it has many other good tasting sauces, as they usually get devoured up by me within a week - by drinking it. :P
Hence, I continue my teriyaki tofu "stalking" spree, this time, googling teriyaki sauce.
hehe. There is a way you can make teriyaki sauce at home. !! yay !!
All you need is basically, soy sauce (one of the few sauces I do not readily drink), rice wine, sugar, and if you want - ginger.
Well here's the recipe, credits to Squidoo
Ingredients
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Sugar - preferably brown
1/4 Cup Mirin Rice Wine - sweet
1 Tsp Grated Ginger
1) Combine soy sauce, brown sugar and mirin rice wine.
2) Bring to a boil and continue cooking until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3) Remove from heat and add grated ginger.
Viola! Homemade teriyaki sauce!
Refrigerate unused portion for later use.
Well, I will be making teriyaki tofu tomorrow :) Wish me luck :P
OH NO! ugghhh I just realised that we are running low on soy sauce. !!! SINCE WHEN DO WE RUN LOW ON SOY SAUCE??!! Like, never? BUT when I need it? ><
Sigh, seems like I won't be making lovely dovely teriyaki tofu tomorrow :(
