vegemite.
Saturday, June 4, 2011/ 7:30 PM
Currently sitting in front of the lappy... with a 400g Vegemite jar, and one chopstick.
Yep. Guess what I am doing.
I'm eating Vegemite from the jar.
Cos that's how Aussie I am... LOL with a chopstick? aha
Hoho, and between studying - more like cramming for exam week - this coming week. Cries.
I decide to look up how people eat Vegemite. Like, I was looking for interesting ways..
But I couldn't find any.. mostly, the people are some American asking how Aussies eat Vegemite since it is so gross. Some say that their ads say that Aussies eat it daily. That I am not sure of.. but I guess, yeah, I don't really know, but I don't know anyone who does...
Well to any of you non-Aussies out there, Vegemite is basically yeast extract, and its very very salty. Most people, even Aussies only have a veeerrry thin coat. Some cheat and put loads of margarine underneath...
However, I am quite different, and I believe there are some of those like me out there.. I hope. I don't cheat using margarine, I dont, put a very thinnnnn layer. In fact, I literally load the piece of toast with Vegemite. VERY THICK LAYER OF VEGEMITE.
Haha, that's just because I like salty, spicy, and sour foods. ;)
Ok, for those who wanna try, but you are scared. haha
Layer one piece of toast with a very thin layer of Vegemite.
Eat away.
But if you are not scared, use a thick layer!
Or, like, make Tiger Toast
Spread as much or as less Vegemite you like on a piece of bread.
Cut cheese into thin strips, like 4X1 cm strips.
Lay the strips onto the bread, so that it is like a tiger print - get it?
:)
Put it in one of those grill things.
Then eat away!
One way I eat avocados, is by layering the avocado with tonnes of Vegemite.
Yummo.
Ahhh exam week.. eek.

Here I would like to yell out a BIG THANK YOU to my friend RS, for giving me the most loveliest and cutest little creation - a white/milk chocolate mouse!
It is from her chocolate shop,
Hahndorf's Fine Chocolate, and it looks too amazingly cute and yummy. I don't even want to eat it, not because it doesn't look yum. It looks really yum, but it looks too cute. If I eat it, would I be eating myself? Haha :)
Here's some pics: WILL BE UPDATED TOMORROW ;)
So cute.
So, if you are in Melbourne, and want to eat really lovely chocolate - even though I haven't tried this one,I'm sure their chocolate is nice. I have tried other chocolate from there before!

Fellow readers,
If any of you happen to be bored - have time to kill, visit
www.bugspraymafia.weebly.com
It's a website, currently in construction, but is already filled with randomness. Yep, I am one of the many authors of the site ;)
A talented doodler, not me, will have her drawings also uploaded onto the site. They are the cutest and funniest scenes and doodles you will ever see. If you are interested, stay tuned.
Oh, by the way, if you do happen to visit, please fill out the survey - don't worry, its a "for-fun" one, not provided by a third-party :D, just so I can get an idea of how many of you decided to visit!
Technically, I shouldn't be bored - I have a bio test tomorrow.

Crazy Wings, apparently this franchise of chicken wing stores, has extremely spicy chicken wings. Although I have my doubts, as I have just heard of this from one little annoying brother of mine...
Through much research, and reading tonnes of blogs about these wings, I come to a conclusion that... I will challenge you to try these wings!
I have not personally tried them myself, and apparently, the Melbourne store has really bad customer service. Oh wells, whenever I get the chance, I'll pop into Crazy Wings and try these supposedly spicy wings. ;)

soy sauce.

Soy Sauce is the key to life.
Without Soy Sauce
- Nothing to go with your plain rice when there is crap food on the table for dinner.
- Then you would not eat the rice at all.
- Then you STARVE.
- Then you DIE. 0_0
MORAL OF THE STORY - HAVE SOY SAUCE.
LEE KUM KEE SOY SAUCE - note, not LEE KUM KEE PREMIUM SOY SAUCE. I like the LKK Soy Sauce, it's my favourite.
It tastes so good, like, better than other soy sauces.
My dad says, all good tasting soy sauces are bad for you. Not that I care. :)
But I look on the side, and there is a whole line of E ingredients. ;P ehhs..
Oh wells, it doesn't stop me from telling mum to buy that type of soy sauce every time.
________________________________________________________________
Mum comes home with shopping one day.
During dinner, I have a look at the soy sauce.
Yep yep its LEE KUM KEE, but it's not SOY SAUCE.
It's..... PREMIUM SOY SAUCE.
... =_="
Ok, you would think that PREMIUM soy sauce would be better than the Soy Sauce right?
Afterall, PREMIUM? Sounds better?
NOT AT ALL. IT TASTED LIKE CRAP. - My opinion only I guess. The rest of the family had no problem with it. I guess I am picky with my food.
PREMIUM Soy Sauce tasted like, I can't explain, I just didn't like it. Despite it being
premium.

This is how sad I am. Not
sad sad, I mean,
how sad. Not
upset sad. I mean sad. Get it? Haha I don't even get it..
Ok, I am not
upset sad, I'm sad... ok, maybe I should stop. I'm confusing myself.
I thought, considering it is Sunday, and weekends are not (in my brain) classified as holidays, so, technically (in my world), holidays start tomorrow. :) And, err, I'd start holiday studying tomorrow, and just relax today..
Since I had nothing to do, and not to mention today is Sunday - there are no good tv shows on, and to prove just how sad ( not upset sad ;) ) I am, I randomly google
"how to kill time". See how sad I am?
After clicking on random results, I decide to compile my own list.
TIRAMISU MOUSE'S TOP TEN WAYS TO MURDER TIME
1 - Blog on how you murdered time.
2 - Read MLIA, or other sites like FML etc.
3 - Click on a like on Facebook, and spend the next hour liking other likes.
4 - Google How to Kill Time.
5 - Go on a flat escalator, and run the other way - So it seems like you are running on the spot.
6 - Go to sleep.
The below ways to murder time also benefit other people, helping them murder time. :) Hence, you are being a friendly citizen.
7 - During rush hour (peak traffic hour), dress up in a road worker's costume, and hold up a stop/slow sign on a busy road. This helps the people in cars rushing off to work murder time. :) This can also be achieved by stopping your car on the busy road, pretending that it has broken down.
8 - Go into a shoe shop, and try on a million pairs of shoes, then say, "I'll have a think about it." This helps the Shop Assistants murder time.
9 - Go up and down the lift in the shopping centre, and before you leave, press all the buttons, so that other people in the lift can also murder time. ;)
10 - When your teacher explains something that takes long explanation, dutifully raise your hand and tell him/her that you do not understand, and ask to repeat what he/she had just said. This is being a good student, helping your teacher murder time.
So, you like my Top Ten Ways of Murdering Time?

teriyaki tofu.
Saturday, April 9, 2011/ 7:22 PM
mmmmmmm :P
Visiting the local sushi shop today, I came across a sushi flavour that I have never tried before. ...... teriyaki tofu :)
Man, it was yum as..
dribbleshehe being myself as usual, I decide to
stalk teriyaki tofu by googling it...
All the recipes for teriyaki tofu requires ... teriyaki sauce. Genius?
BUT our kitchen has no teriyaki sauce.. not that it has many other good tasting sauces, as they usually get devoured up by me within a week - by drinking it. :P
Hence, I continue my teriyaki tofu "stalking" spree, this time, googling teriyaki sauce.
hehe. There is a way you can make teriyaki sauce at home. !! yay !!
All you need is basically, soy sauce (one of the few sauces I do not readily drink), rice wine, sugar, and if you want - ginger.
Well here's the recipe, credits to Squidoo
Ingredients
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Sugar - preferably brown
1/4 Cup Mirin Rice Wine - sweet
1 Tsp Grated Ginger
1) Combine soy sauce, brown sugar and mirin rice wine.
2) Bring to a boil and continue cooking until the sugar is completely dissolved.
3) Remove from heat and add grated ginger.
Viola! Homemade teriyaki sauce!
Refrigerate unused portion for later use.
Well, I will be making teriyaki tofu tomorrow :) Wish me luck :P
OH NO! ugghhh I just realised that we are running low on soy sauce. !!! SINCE WHEN DO WE RUN LOW ON SOY SAUCE??!! Like, never? BUT when I need it? ><
Sigh, seems like I won't be making lovely dovely teriyaki tofu tomorrow :(

A more likely explanation is that the term originated as an abbreviation of orl korrekt , a jokey misspelling of 'all correct' which was current in the US in the 1830s.

facebook shopping.
Sunday, January 23, 2011/ 6:22 PM
Shops on Facebook are getting more popular?
[Especially those who decide to add randoms, in hope of increasing their business.
hmmm]
Well, it's not exactly safe to shop on Facebook, or is it?
I've seen those sellers who only accept "concealed cash", which is when you wrap money in some paper, put it in an envelope, so that it is not visible to anyone, and post it to the person.
I guess concealed cash is not safe, A - The money could get lost in the mail. B - The person could receive it, but claim that they didn't, as there is no proof.
You could always mail by registered post, but, is what you are buying worth you paying an extra $4 just to get the money to your seller? PLUS, they could always receive it, and claim that there was nothing inside the envelope. OHOHO
But, there are always those who have great feedback, despite accepting concealed cash. The choice of buying is yours.
HAHA, now there are those sellers who accept: Bank deposit, Face-to-face meetups with cash, and the trusty Paypal.
WHY WE LOVE PAYPAL? Well, only Buyers would love Paypal.
As a seller on ebay, I have come across Buyers who, have claimed they have not received the item, claimed that there was nothing in the box... The list goes on. They simply lodge a dispute claim with Paypal, and can get their money refunded. [Of course, it is a bit more complicated than that, but this is not the time to be complaining about Paypal.]
SO, as a Buyer, we should be happy about the Paypal Buyers' Protection. Yep, if the item never arrives, we can get our money back.
Paypal is, I suppose a safe way to SHOP online.
As for meet-ups, choose to meet up in busy places, eg. Melbourne Central. Haha.
NO, DON'T MEET UP IN ALLEYWAYS. K?
Welllll, I like FB shopping. SO YA.

The idea of making a computer mouse into a mouse popped into my head.
After all, I am a computer mouse. THETIRAMISUMOUSE.
And, I thought that a mouse would be more useful than a touchpad. Not that I do not like my little laptop touchpad. It's just that this touchpad looks nothing like a mouse.
I would decorate a mouse, so that it looks like a mouse. The question was, which mouse?
I want a wireless bluetooth mouse.
One reason being that I do not have enough USB Ports. Some wireless mice require a USB Port to plug in a receiver.
Another reason is that I do not want to have my tail plugged into a laptop.
PLUS, I want the mouse to look good. Who makes the best looking technology? APPLE!
I was stuck between the 2 good-looking mice.
The Magic Mouse, and The Wireless Mighty Mouse. [no, I do not like the Wired Mighty Mouse]
Magic Mouse is the world's first multi-touch mouse. It's so cool, and has tonnes of features. AND it's white!
The Wireless Mighty Mouse, looks amazingly like a mouse, but prettier, and has good features too! AND it's white!
As clever as Apple is, why couldn't they have put Magic Mouse's features into Mighty Mouse? It could have been THE ALMIGHTY MAGIC MOUSE. How epic.
Not that I was ever fond of Apple. I never liked Macs, apart from their designs...
Christmas is nearing.
THANK YOU to my friend P, for agreeing to get me the ALMIGHTY mouse :)
